Spearheading Lion Order to Cash Next Generation Processes

Michelle has been an instrumental transformational leader spearheading the digital transformation of the Lion ‘Order to Cash’ stream which includes the implementation of the SAP Customer Experience. Having worked with Lion for over 15 years, Michelle’s extensive leadership skills have been employed in various senior strategy, Regional and General Management roles.

Order to Cash extends far beyond the traditional definition and includes a consistent, seamless, integrated customer experience that will achieve a best of breed unified front-end stack that maximises customer engagement.

Next Generations Processes (NGP2) is an ambitious digital transformation project that will transform Lion and replace many legacy systems with the SAP Customer Experience, including SAP Sales and Marketing Cloud. NGP2 is an extensive program that brings new processes and software together for each country in scope.

David Williams, GM eCommerce and ERP Delivery – Metcash

David Williams will discuss the Digital Transformation journey Metcash have undertaken, the project spanning much of the past year. He will elaborate about the Metcash approach to governance, technology and team structure, giving valuable insight on the successes, challenges and learnings that he and his team have navigated through during this exciting time for both their Supermarkets and Liquor brands. David will also talk about the role Bluleader has played in supporting him and his team along this journey.

An MBA graduate, David has gained over 17 years’ experience driving technology innovation and insight across a broad range of IT services and solutions. Having worked in various Technology Lead and Business Delivery Management roles, David has been primarily focussed on increasing operational efficiency, minimising risks and promoting business growth in dynamic, highly competitive retail markets.
